Paul Greengrass turns a 14th-century peasant revolt into a raw, ground-level war film, following a commoner who unites an army against the King's might. Rise or die is the whole engine here, and Andrew Garfield and Jamie Bell drive the charge. Seeing the crowd surges and the clashes at full size is the point.

Peter Parker fights crime full-time against an invisible villain threatening the city and everyone he loves, and the pressure pushes him toward a transformation he may not control. It sits at 89% on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.1 on IMDb, with Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jon Bernthal in the mix. Screenings are thin this week, so grab it fast if the big-screen action calls to you.
